Just seen a SunCamp Evolution 600DL at a camping exhibition.
Has anybody had experience of the SunCamp range ot tents? If so what are they like? The ones which we saw look very well made with lots of good features.
The Evolution 600DL looks an excelent tent with generous bedrooms and a very large living space which is high (215cm), light and airy.
We currently have a Vango Killington 400 which I would consider replacing if the Evolution is as good as it appears to be.

We have the sunncamp vario 600 plus got it last year and love it despite really bad weather and wind it held up well, I loved the SIG, The Evolution looks great I like the shape of it the four doors mean you can follow the sun right round so you can pitch in any direction. Good luck with it if you decide to buy.
We were so suitably impressed with the Evolution 400 that we bought one yesterday.
Didn't really look at the 600 as it was bigger than we need.
We were after an overnight tent, and I like to be able to stand upright. Wanted enough space that 2 adults and 2 small children could sit in with relative comfort but it had to be quick to erect and take down. This tent ticked all the right boxes. Also the shape appealed to me. It was quite a windy day and this tent seemed to cope well with the wind, it was stable even though it appeared to have been pitched by a child.
Don't know if that helps

Thanks for your replies they have been helpful. One of my concerns with any tent is its stability when windy.
I am still considering whether to replace my Vango Killington, but if I do I think that it will be with the Evolution 600DL which has plenty of head room and generous living space.
Any further comments and advice would be welcome.
Come on weather, lets have a great camping summer!
We bought the SunnCamp Vulcan and have absolutely no complaints so far. Well made, waterproof, plenty of the little "features" that we all love and very easy to pitch.
It was a toss-up between the Vulcan and the Evolution and visiting a couple of shops this weekend I am fairly sure we made the right choice. The "nose" on the Evolution put us off a bit, difficult to explain, but not having a front door and using the "nose" for storage struck as odd, it looked somewhat like the front end of a boat!
You are right about the headroom as well, a good twenty centimetres on the Vango so far more comfortable for us six footers
We bought an Evolution 600 last year as a weekend tent.. and loved it. Unfortunately it was faulty and had to go back. We have now bought the 600 DL, only done a test pitch so far but we are very pleased with it. Living space is definately better than the 600, and there are the 2 extra doors. I think we paid aroud £180 for it and it's a steal at that.
