I have no experience of the particular tent you are looking at, but I did post this thread on another post earlier today, thought it might help!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our first 'Royal' experience was the 'Standard dayroom', which we used as a kitchen tent, and at home when we had BBQ's, it never leaked, seamed to be made really well, and withstood some really high winds last Whitsun.

We then bought a 'Royal Drive Away Awning', to use as an extension for our OUtwell hartford Xl that we had, again, it never leaked nor did we have any problems.

So when it came to this year and we decided to change out tent for a new one ( not because we had any problems with Outwell) we just fancied a change.

We bought, after much searching and comparing, a Royal Pescara 8. So hopefully this will live up to the last 2 Royal tents we have had.

We have done a test pitch, and everything seems ok so far. We are going for a test camp this weekend, so will let you know how it goes. ( and I am pretty sure that there is rain forecast!)

In conclusion, I would reccommend to anyone to buy a  Royal tent!

Not sure if you have purchased you Seattle yet! I looked at the Reno but the bedroom is a bit smaller, we are just about to purchase a Seattle ourselves we have been looking for a good month now, and keep coming back to Royal tents as they offer so much value for money. Its only the two of us in the tent and this one came first on our list because it will take our big king size air bed, it has an electric point into the tent, fly door to bedroom as well as normal door, and most importantly for us to tall people you can stand up in the living area which will take four seats if you have friends to visit. We found a great deal with it at £95 for just the tent or £126.12 for the tent, carpet and footprint ground sheet, so can not pass up this offer. If you have already got yours I would be interested to hear how you are finding it. Deborah

Hi

I haven't seen this tent up but I have just bought a different design Royal tent and will be putting it up for the first time tomorrow (weather permitting!). I went to a display before buying it and although the one I bought wasn't up there were about 4 other Royal tents on display and they seemed to be as good quality as some of the other names that were around them (Outwell/Vango etc).

Hope this helps - Good Luck with your decision

We have just got a Seattle 4 as our first tent we put it up for a test pitch last week and it went up quite easy and looks to be well made, the only draw back is that I can't find any reviews of this tent anywhere witch is worrying me a little17  saying that I have heard good things about the Royal make.

We are off to Cornwall end of Aug so we'll see how it stands up to all the weather then.
