As with Madhair, we also have bought a Monty 6. It's a fab tent. I have to say the first one we bought leaked quite badly! The second one, however, has stood up to some atrocious weather and took it all in it's stride. There wasn't a dribble, inspite of all the indoor cooking.

When I first saw them on-line I wondered how they did such a fantastic looking tent with all those features for such a reasonable price.

I think we know now.

Hi We own a spray way valley 6

Just been camping this weekend Fri-Sun 12 pm off pitch.

First time pitching tent (first time out of the bag) my wife and I were quite impressed with how easy it was erected. (45mins)

Inner has SIG (sewn in groudsheet) with bedroom compartmets and living space (good size for family of four)

SIG high in one spot before bedrooms but not to much tension to cause a problem, with 2 childern 3 & 5 running around.

We had very bad weather all Satrurday day and night, (rain and strong winds) we found the Sun canopy at the front of the tent to offer very good protection form the elements. Good pitching direction advised. Very sturdy frame.

We had 3 small leaks (and Im a plumber so I know a leak when I see one!!) all around the top seam of all three living room windows. But I know that tents are not 100% waterproof, so on the way back home brought some fabric water sealant and have appllied it to the seams in question.

We purchased the footprint groundsheet with the tent and found it to be a bonus as it keeps the SIG dry and dirt free also its long enough to cover the ground in the front porch area, a must when it damp under foot.

Side compartment great for storage (cooker,kids toys) internal storage pockets very handy, bedrooms good size and the built in wardrobe space, a good hiding place for the Under 3's.

We knew when we brought it, that it being a prototype model that we might have a few

problems, but (touchwood) it is a really spacious, pratical tent and the design is some thing different form that of all the other tents on offer.

it is such a shame that sprayway are suffering from leaks as they have just started selling the valley range and it looks like a very nice tent

I have been a long time spraway buyer and there outdoor clothes are brillint and always perform well in all conditions

lets hope that they address these issues and carry on producing what looks to be a very nice tent

Just come back from 6 days camping in the Peak District with our Sprayway Valley 4. 

Not happy at all with the tent and wish i had got the Outwell Montana.  Its a chore to get the tent up and we found it really hard to get the tensioning right even though we had a decent flat pitch.

Its put me right off, I dont want to go camping August Bank Holiday now unless we get another tent. 

Hi jaynkate so sorry to hear your holiday was spoilt, but at least you have got your money back even if they did tell you a bit of a lie, Sprayway do make some seriously well designed clothes and will I'm sure get it right with thier tent range, but there are lot of other very good tents on the market and some great reviews on this site for the better ones and honest dealers so you will be able to get a new one and we can all hear how your next trip has been a total success..happy camping and good luck.

Spoke to World of Tents about the problems with our Sprayway Valley 4 and they agreed to exchange it for an Outwell (Utah 4) and we will pay the difference.

They were really helpful, I am so pleased and now looking forward to August Bank Holiday!
