Just had this delivered and had a trial pitch in the garden.
Previous experience has been with a Coleman 4 berth vis a viz type tent which I was happy with but we wanted a bit more room and quality.
Yukon was £164 delivered and so I was expecting a lot more than the £70 Coleman.
First impressions are good, geels better quality material, it is the 5000 HH material. pitching is easier than the Coleman single handed, plus there is a very useful DVD to demonstrate. Took me about 30 min so the 20 min quoted should be possible.
Colour coding of the poles confused me, they are black or dark grey, two of each and I though at first they had sent me the wrong poles but it all works out well. Incidentally also came with 2 porch poles which the web site indicates are extras.
First experience of the TBS 2 system and it seems logical and it was quite easy to get the tent square and firm.
Inside is nice and light with clear roof windows. 2 good size bedrooms 4 man one can be divided . I think the 4 berth bit will be plenty big enough for all 4 of the family without the other 2 man which leaves more space and an extra porch.
Was a bit concerned about the end door over the smaller bedroom but they have put a lot of effort and material into making the zip weather proof. Will report back when it has been fully tested.
Would have liked 2 rather than one side door and mesh for the door as an alternative but overall very pleased.
Will post another note when it has been tested in the field.
