We couldn't sell our we gave it away just to get rid of it even the bin men refused to take it [reason being they won't take anything that can be recycled]
Nope keep away and spend you money on a better tent you'll have to pay that little bit more but it's worth it if you've read the other topic ''yay i finally got our tent'' you'll understand why even after you think that camping is not for you you'll have more chance of selling a better make than PROACTION

Have been promising kids we'll go camping for ages but didn't want to spend a load of money and not like it. There again probably put us off anyway if the tent is rubbish! Just thought that one sounded good value for the price. Obviuosly not judging from the replies. Glad I looked here first before buying it!
My friend has a proaction tent from Argus, the 4 man/2 bedroom tent, she's had it for a few years now and camps around 6 times a year and loves her tent. Never lets in the rain and holds up in the wind. Its really sturdy. I guess she was lucky then.

Some of them are better than others. Most Pro-Action tents I've looked at have had a HH of 2000 which is more than adequate for UK weather and though reportedly the zip construction can be a bit iffy, many people have had and used Pro-Action tents very happily.
. However the £39.99 tent under discussion has a HH of 1200 and as that's considerably less than the accepted UK minimum of 1500HH, thus not suitable for anything other than perhaps a disposable festival tent or a play tent in the garden.
We have a 10 person one. It certainly wouldn't comfortably sleep 10 and is very lacking in living area (space for 2) but didn't leak when we used it earlier this year.

I have the very tent in question... had it for about two years now and used it about 5 times... never had a problem with it through varying rain and winds...
IMO for £40 you can't go wrong... think we paid over double that.
the best bargain tent i have seen at the moment is the Vango Venture 500 at gooutdoors for just £55 thats a good size for up to 4 people ( although even better if 2-3 of you) good quality and easy to erect - I have done it myself alone although obviously much easier with help like any tent is.
I paid £75 last and that was a bargain then so its a fab price now. Probebly due to it being exclusive to go as an end of line but still great
Well we've had a 4 berth Proaction tent , no problems at all . been out in torrential rain , even abandoned it & came home, went back in the morning & tent was fine. Only stopped using it because of the size , there are 4 of us , so the 6 birth would of been better.
i bought one of these 2nd hand off ebay and have camped three times so far since april , last time it rained for a good 4 hours solid that i am aware of and it didnt leak at all, infact was very cosy and we hadnt even put the bedroom pods in, so as to give more room.
