We took our new idaho xl away to new forest for bank hol,the pitch wasnt huge and it fitted fine, dont get me wrong its a big tent, but i am so impressed,it withstood the winds and all that rain and we didnt have a drop of water inside,it is a fine tent and i would highly recomend it.

We saw one pitched at the site we were at, it didn't look out of place at all.

I have an Idaho XL and front extension we have just returned from Whitemead in the forest of Dean and we fitted fine - it was great - it is not much bigger than any other 6 berth plus tent as it uses all the pitch space rather than having lots of pods. It is the best tent - we have just upgraded from a khyam classic xl and I already love the Idaho more - I thaought that was impossible - buy the carpet and extension and you will have a complete home away from home - Bliss!

Hi,  It won't fit on a C&cc site pitch as too big, but it's such a fab tent x
