Hi all

We bought the Coleman Comfort double mattress because of the consistent good reports we read of it. I find it fine to sleep on but my partner doesn't as he finds the 2 chamber inflation design (perimeter chamber and inner chamber) seems to cause him to roll in to the middle. I weigh less than him by about 2 stone and neither of us is overweight.

Has anyone else experienced this with this mattress - and solved it? We tried different inflations in case we had over inflated it - but this didn't seem to work...

Don't think there is anything you can do. We have the same bed and we roll into each other as well. My problem is my husband is all wrapped up in his mummy bag and body hops back over to his side. So if you can imagine with each hop, I bounce up.

We had a good laugh in the morning...lol

To be honest that is why we stuck with 2 singles. I think the Coleman comfort is a good airbed but I move about quite alot in my sleep and depite the reviews I thought it would lead to arguments if we went with a double. I have now started to use my self inflating mat more than the airbed and I find it just as comfortable.

We have the same bed i pump ours up really hard my other half is about 6 stone heavier than me but must say not overweight and we never roll together. We did have a puncture at may bank holiday gutted as we had only used it 3 times but found the hole and repaired it. I have never really slept well since getting ours until last weekend maybe its just an adjusting thing don`t know but had my best 4 nights sleep ever while camping.

Have you tried turning it so you have the section with the perimeter chamber? I find it much more comfortable one way round than the other...Hubby weighs a fair bit more than me, so he gets the "solid" section and I get the double section. I can't stand it the other way round!

we borrowed one of thse this weekend as we're thinking of getting one - first night I didn't think OH had pumped it up enough, he had the perimter side too and every time he turned over I felt sea sick & woke up!! We put some more air in and turned it round ( he didn't want the valve in his face rather than any other reason - we weigh about the same BTW) and it was much better, not sure what improved it though - leaning towards preferring two singles though now maybe connectable ones like the campinggaz pair
