Well, what I would do in your case is start looking around for another, better tent, get on with your camping and if the worst comes to the worst and you don't get a refund then you'll not have lost holiday time over this.

There are some good bargains around still in discontinued tents from last year, from good manufacturers. What sort of tent do you think you'd like?

It's the kind of tent you might get a footprint groundsheet or carpet thrown into the deal with, btw. Never hurts to ask!

Loads and loads of threads on here over the last couple of years about them.  The Vango Aspen would have been my choice without a shadow of a doubt.
