Hi all - very new campers here - bought the Khyam Colorado tent last year but never got to use cos of the weather so decided to go for it. Just got back from 5 days in Norfolk (Beeston Regis campsite) and the wind was appalling - the tent stayed up but the inner ground sheet is not sewn in and we spent forever weighing the edges down with bottles, chairs, boots etc (bottles soon became empty). Has anyone got any good ideas (we were told to put masking tape down but that seems like a bit of a mare each time). Also is the Khyam Colorado tunnel tent any good - I've still got mixed feelings about it - yes it did stay up but it leaked where the velcro holds the inner poles up and I hate the ground sheet. Opposite us was an Outwell Vermont tent that hardly moved in the winds. Look forward to some well needed advice!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
get one of those eyelet punches and put the eyelets round the outer edge then you can peg it down.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
