Can anyone help with some tent suggestions. I'm looking for a quick erect / weekend tent for 5 (2 adults and 3 small children). Currently have BL6, which is just too big for weekends. The tent would be easy / quick to erect in case of rain & have a SIG with some head room. I know i'm not going to get the luxury of the BL6, but figured this tent would be good for weekends, also if it was raining could put it up instead of BL6 for a few days until it dried out, so not too worried if it's a little cramped for a few days.
Thanks in advance

Maybe a Khyam QE range tent. My friend swears by his. I very very nearly purchased one before I saw the BL6. But have been sniffing around them for a Quick Erect tent for weekend use. Unfortunately dont think I can afford a Karsten inflatable tent.
edit: oops just realised you asked for SIG and not sure which of the rigidomes have SIGs I think its SIG just in the bedroom pods and not in main area.
I'd leave Khyam well alone. Their tents are great for erecting but if something goes wrong their customer service is non-existent. They don't reply to email and don't even answer their phone! They change the specs for their tents every few years meaning that if you've invested a few hundred on a tent then finding spares a efw years down the line is a nightmare and you can't use generic poles etc either.
how about a cabanon barbados? We had the same problem with our Norfolk lake, so I bought a second hand barbados. Up in 10 mins and feels great just like the NL.
We have just bought the nevada xl for our family of 5 - probably for shorter breaks rather than our large khyam espace. I am hoping I will be able to put it up on my own with the kids if hubby is working and joins us later. Haven't actually received it yet but after lots of research seemed to be about the best for our needs. Will second not getting a khyam - no customer service at all any more - have emailed them recently and they just don't reply and there is no phone number to call them on. We plan to put the two older kids in together at one end and keep the youngest in with us for now. Apparently it has mesh doors which we found really good when trying to feed kids with wasps flying about! Also has sig. Hope this helps. Someone else recommended winfields deal with free carpet for £229.
We've got the Outdoor Revolution Starcamper 5 for weekends - loads of living room, not sure if the bedroom pod would be big enough for you or not - we are 2 adults and 2 kids and its plenty big enough for us, but we would have to downsize our single airbeds to a double, or to self-inflators if we had another kiddy in with us.
Great thing about it is that me and the 9yrs old can get erect it in less than 15 minutes.
The Aldi tent that is on sale this weekend might do the job?
Christine
