Bought one of these today and tried it out in the garden.  It's very impressive.  The living area isn't massive but certainly adequate for a 2+2 family.  The groundsheet is semi sewn in to the tent, the bedroom compartment is separate and comes with two zip up dividers to make one, two or three bedrooms.

We are using it in two weeks time, once it's been tested I'll give my full review!

it would be interesting to see the inside and idea of size as it is hard to tell from the aldi picture

Yeah I'd like to see some more photos/info on this.

I'm on the verge of spending £190+ on a Nevada M after changing my mind constantly over the past month or so. The good words people have for this Aldi tent only serve to make my decision even more difficult. Especially when it's so cheap!

Junkd. I would say the aldi one is considerably larger inside.

It does not have a full Sig, only attached at the front, The bedrooms have the usual sewn in floor with High mud walls to keep off that draught.

Between the bedroom doors there are storage pockets for shoes etc.

I hosed down the two I got,No leaks at all even around the many good PVC windows, If you do not tuck the door mudwalls under the ground sheet the water gets into the living compartment. Probably the same with all SIg tents.

There are 3 doors. I would use the side doors for main entry exits, only use the front if no chance of rain.

The bedrooms are one single unit spanning the rear of the tent and would take 3 double air beds albeit they would be tightly fitted. They are divided by zip down cotton dividers, Im happy I would get 6 scouts in one with baggage so for a family no problem. There is a loop in the centre sleeping compartment for a light.

All I would say is

For £80   Ive seen named brand tents offering a lot less for a whole lot more money

Buy it even if you only get 2 seasons you've lost nowt.

Hi there

I'm just wondering if this tent has taped seams?? 4000mm HH is great but pretty useless without taped seams too.

And also, it weighs 22.5kg but what sort of shape/size is it packed away??

Any thoughts about this much appreciated as OH really likes this tent and seems a bit of a bargain.

Cheers!

Hiya,

Yes it has taped seems.  The bag is about 4' long and expands to make it easier when putting away.

We bought one yesterday and it seems good value. I can put it up by myself too which is a prerequisite in a weekend tent for us.

Thanks for clarifying that Pocoyo. Probably came across as a daft question but I wanted to make sure. And it's really nice to hear you can put it up alone if needed. With little ones running around you have be able to do 10 things at once when setting up camp LOL!.

OH is picking one up after work as it sounds too good an offer to miss!

Thanks

OH got one last night and it looks really good.  I'm really pleased with the oversized bag too because we can never get them down really small when packing away on the site! We'll set it up over the weekend, can't wait....

Just wondered how easy this is to put up, It does look a bit technical for a beginner like me? And does anyone have the size of the living space? As everything else sounds quite good.

Thanks
