Hi All

Just bought one of these.  Decided to "retire" our Royal canvas frame tent and go all modern!  We love the tent and are really looking forward to camping in it.  However, I've read a few reviews that say it's practically impossible to get it back in the bag.  Anyone got any suggestions to make this task easier - don't want to have to spend more money on a bigger bag if not necessary.  Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Hi MrsPots,

If you search here you should find other posts about the same problem.

I think someone said they actually bought a bigger bag with wheels as they found it humanely imossible to get it back in !

But someone else said that they managed it with help from posts on this site.

Hope this helps

And good luck :)

Angie.

Hi Mrs Pots,

I also have the Ontario 8 and found no problems with repacking into bag.

We leave one door open and collapse the tent taking out inner bedrooms and poles.
Fold in half, then half again, then again until the tent is roughly the same width as bag. Then fold along length from one end to other, then fold again and again.
Whenyou are folding tent, I lie on top pushing the air out, refolding to ensure the tent can go back into the bag.
When you put back into the bagwith inners and poles, extend the straps to full length and buckle up, whilst sitting/lieing on bag, pull straps to tighten the bag, you should then be able to zip the bag up,and then
