We will be getting a Montana 6 soon but I was wondering if anybody knows the difference between the 2007 & 2008 versions.

The images and descriptions all appear to be the same.

Cheers :)

I think the Inners are slightly different,so the kids inner won't fit the 2007.

we have a 2006 Montana 6.  We have friends with the 2008 edition and we have compared them side by side - the differences are:

2008 has an enclosed side porch. 2006 has more of a side 'canopy' but the advantage of the 2006 is that it makes the overall tent width within the CCC pitch limits that Ive seen others discuss elsewhere.

2008 has storage pockets betwen the two bedroom pods. 2006 doesnt but the bedroom has storage pockets at floor level all along the bottom of the pod which we have found perfectly sufficient for a family of 5!

2008 has a holdall style zip up bag. 2006 has a softer but more flexible bag like a sleeping-bag cover, and if you have trouble getting all the air out of the tent when packing it up, the 2006 bag will adapt to the larger size whereas the 2008 won't. And when you pack the 2006 bag in the car you can put stuff on top of it and it will flatten out because there is breathability for the remaining air to gradually escape.

2008 has shiny poles. 2006 (well ours, anyway) has darker brown ones.

HTH!

Ours is a 2006 model and has all the features you have stated for the 2008 model. As for differences between 07 and 08 models, I was wondering what they were myself??

This is correct,we have 08 model and have friends who have the 07,there does not seem to be any other difference.I think the toggles are located differently.
