Well after deciding to go for the Vango Orchy 500.  I've now changed my mind.

After reading quite a few reviews concerning the robustness of this tent in any stong winds i've decided against it.  I've since been looking at the Outwell Nevada M.  This seems to get good reviews and is apparently pretty good in windy condition too.  It being a tunnel instead of the Dome (Orchy).

The only downside to the Nevada is it's price.  It's quite a bit more expensive than the Orchy 500.

Can anyone recommend anything else ?

Thanks

Oh Berry you changed you mind? Never mind :)

We went to Obelink to get our Coleman weathermaster today but.... wasnt that easy ! Spotted several nice tents that almost made it to the car but in the end the weathermaster was the one we bought.

Looks way cool. And it also looks mega easy to pitch too. Couldnt get her up tonight as it is windy as hell here but cant wait long.

Am like a big kid lol

How much do you want to spend?

If I remember rightly you want a 4 person tent with SIG. Budget of 150 or 200?

Need seam sealer on me brain because stuff keeps escaping from it lol

Angie.

Well if you can find one under 200 then I would try a weathermaster. Look at me all biased and not even pitched it yet lol

It is big enough for 4, has large living space,SIG, lots of cool air ports, no see um mesh on all FIVE doors.

HH6000 !

Storage behind the bedrooms.

Its the mutts nuts !

And looks incredibly easy to pitch!

Debbie are you on a commision for recommending Kestrals? lol

Saying that... kestral would be a good choice:)

Angie.

no problem with pitch sizes as its under 6m long . It's really versatile  too. The front panel comes off completely and can be zipped in further inside to create a canopy for cooking or shade from the sun. It has a sig, but it drops down flat at the front and side entrances and toggles up to close it. as its a wide tent too , the living space is huge. It says 4 windows but there a 3 side windows, two in the front and a skylight. Very easy to pitch. Full write up in tent review section.

No, not  on commission ange, wish I was,   it's just a really good  price for a good quality versatile spacious tent. I know a bargain when I see one.

I love big tents, all mine are tunnels 6 or 8 berth, all easy to put up and plenty of room inside .

Yes but the sig drops down at the doorways, lays flat, and has toggles to close it up .

My family take the mick something rotten, call me a  tent anorak, tentspotter , they just can't understand why i spend so much time on her discussing TENTs

lI'm looking for a job as a tent demonstator. can you picture me as an air hostess , but demonstrating tents LOL ?

I just find it sad that people buy a cheap tent like one off ebay, thinking they have A BARGAIN,  that falls apart the first time they use it. When there are good tents for not much more that are really good buys.

Tent demonstrater? What a cool job that would be !

As long as you dont have to wear a uniform with a little hat and neck scarf thing lol.

I cant understand why those cheap, bad quality tents sell for so much on ebay.

I am convinced that the seller bids to bump up the price.

Saw a large skandika tunnel go for almost 300 quid !  They could have got 2 large decent tents for that .
