We are off on our first camping trip with our new tent - Montana 6.
We have just had a practise run in the garden and we did ok putting it up, but I wondered if anyone had any top tips for speeding up the process e.g. did you start at front or back or peg in as you go etc?
Also, how on earth do you get the thing back in its bag?!!
Thanks
Deb

took ours for first outing last week put back poles in first partner held one side while i pegged out then front then two middles took35 40 mins to get back in bag line up bag with edge of tent fold one edge in to slightly less than width of bag same with other edge fold side to side until u end up with long sausage shape start rolling and squeezing air out checking package is getting no wider than bag good luck you will soon have it down to a tee! tim
We've got the smaller version (don't think its called a Montana). Opening a door helps and then waving the tent around a bit to get some air inside otherwise it tends to act a bit like a vacuum.
Hi Debs just bought Monty 6 and front extension from Go Outdoors (price match with internet prices all for £360) just pitched it as try out for weekend and packed away no problems after watching the You tube vids would highly recommend you watch them from the links above
good luck
Andy

when we take our outwell Vermont down we always leave the internal door open to let the air out but also start by taking the legs out first but leave the roof poles in as this helps get rid of any trapped air. then its a case of taking the roof bars out bagging them then folding the tent up. we can fold our vermont up and have it back in its bag in 15 mins or 20
