Just been let down on the purchase of an Outwell Idaho XL from Go Outdoors at £349.
Don't want to spend £400 on the Idaho and then have to pay for the footprint and the expensive carpet, so I am going back to the other 2 tents on my shortlist, either the Khyam Quebec 8 or the Outwell Nevada XL. I will need to buy a porch as well. The Quebec has a part steel frame, the Nevada is fibreglass only but is cheaper.
Come on, anybody out there who can help me make the decision?
Regards,
Gary

I have the nevada xl, and and can't fault it at all. Its definitely not dark inside it has huge windows. Its so quick to pitch, less than half an hour all guyed out.
i got mine from winfields with the free carpet £229.
it was used last bank holiday in the gales and torrential rain, it was bone dry and coped well with the wind even though it was hitting it side on.
can't comment on the others, haven't seen any of them up.
