My tent arrived at 10.45 this morning =D Unfortunately I didn't actually get home from work til 5.15 but by 5.45 our new tent was up so just goes to show how easy it was.

We put some of our furniture in it to see how everything would fit and we sat and had our tea in it before my girlfriends parents came round to view it.

Everyone seems most impressed and I'm really pleased with our choice =) Looking forward to our first proper trip in it (although that's ages away, 25th!)

Thought I'd share a few pics, click the lil ones for bigger versions. (sorry for my excitedness, I'm like a big kid! =P)

Looks a great tent, I think we've finally decided on this one for ourselves after much deliberating. Great pics too, nice to see some different to the stock images.

Where did you get yours from? and how much?

Good luck on your first trip, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourselves!

Well lack of stock at most places narrowed it down a lot but I eventually ordered it from Camping World over the phone. It was £232 for the tent, carpet and delivery.

I've ordered the footprint separately from Outdoor Megastore which isn't due in stock til this Friday. I know for a fact it will be worth the money though after we took the tent down at half past 9 last night and had to pick slugs off the bottom of it and dry it with a tea towel

It's worth noting that it is a lot bigger inside than it looks. We primarily only bought it for two of us but we're taking my brother and his girlfriend away with us this time.  We've tested the size of the double airbed and it fits snugly inside the smaller bedroom. So they're having that while we're using a donated king size airbed from my girlfriends parents.

Bought one of these myself at the weekend, paid £249.99 at a Yeomans outdoor store in my local garden centre. Needed a tent for a 40th birthday party stopover and figured we might as well go the whole hog and get one fit for us to use that night and also for the family to use in August for a 3 or 4 night break.

Well impressed with how easy it was to put up and take down, we're complete amateurs when it comes to camping, this is our first tent and it took us half an hour to put up which I was very happy with. About the same to take down as well. We're now on the hunt for a decent campsite in the middle of August for our first real camping trip. Also on the hunt for the must have accessories as we haven't got a thing at the moment! I think I'll get one of those footprints you've got ordered, seems a good idea, also some delta pegs!

Looking forward to many enjoyable trips with our new tent, you wouldn't believe how anti camping I was not that long ago, can't believe we've now got such a nice tent and actually really looking forward to it.

We came back from our 1st trip with our Nevada on sat after 8 nights away in Yorkshire.

Well impressed with it, especially after the gale force winds we had on the weekend of our arrival. 28 hours of winds, reputed to reach 70mph. We thought no way is it going to take it, but it did. then later in the week we had a heavy downpour, no leaks. & after all that wind. As i say well impressed.

It's good to hear stories like that. Really reassuring to know that it withstood that weather Kev!

Hopefully it will be as nice as it is at the moment when we go away in 3 weeks time. Might even take it away for a sneaky 2 night trip somewhere local cause we're so desperate to get camping =)

I've ordered my EHU unit and delta pegs today and I'm getting a windbreak for my birthday. So I've officially ticked off everything on my 'required gear' list... for now. =P

My xl stood up to 60-70mph gales too, with the help of deltas, when 2  other tents with us had broken poles and collapsed. no problem with the rain either, nice sturdy tent.

Which delta pegs have you gone for? The stainless steel ones are out of stock at the moment so I assume you've gone for the others? Are they ok to use in hard ground do you know?

I have the nylon ones, as I mostly use the same 2 sites and neither have hard ground.

I belive the steel ones are better for hard ground. Do a search in the equipment section, loads of info about deltas there.
