Has anybody used it????

How difficult is it to put away?

Am thinking of using it as an extra shelter with the Dandy when putting up the awning would be too time consuming.  I realise that it will not be a proper awning.

I've got one and got the lady int the shop to demonstrate, demonstrate and demonstrate, until I was sure I knew what to do - then I had a go.

When it came to using it - putting it away was dead easy.

Getting it up was a whole other story!!!! Should have got her to demostrate that as well

By the way are you pleased with it?

Actually there isn't a problem putting it up. Its just not as quick as the video on the website implies. (but isn't that always the way) Also I think I'd got myself so tied up in knots about putting it away, I hadn't considered how to go about erecting it. In the shop we just 'play' erected- got it partial up to put away.

It took about 30 minutes first time but there was some up-pegging and re-pegging going on trying to get that corner straight. But now I've done it once, I can see next time being 10 minutes from out the car to putting the kettle on.

Forgot to say, although we'veonly used it once (2nd trip next weekend) - dead please.

Once I've got the hang of it, so far, fingers crossed could be the best buy yet.

It looks brilliant.  Am wondering if I could use it as an inperfect but quick shelter/awning to go with the Dandy at Weekends... Those hoods look like they could shelter over the door.  Could also insert a little annexe with a 2 seconds tent so that you could throw the teenages outside.

We have just just used this for the first time this weekend..up in 30 seconds, fully guyed and pegged out in 5 minutes and it took about 2 minutes to take down + 5 minutes to remove the pegs and tie up the guy ropes. It was very easy, but we did practice a couple of times in the garden before we went.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a Quecha base full, and a base standard? I can't figure it out from the website.

Freerange, from memory one (the full?) has flappy things to attach sleeping tents to.

We've got one and a Dandy! Easy to put up, easy to put down once you have the knack.

The base full has the extra bits above the doors.
