Does anyone know if like Outwell and some other tent manufacturers if they do a carpet for the Coleman Darwin 5. Search all over the net with no luck. Does any know which carpet might fit of where I can get one made? The size of the Darwin is about 3m x 2m.
Cheers

Hi DW
If you can't find a carpet what about using 2 or 3 plastic backed picnic rugs as carpets. We use them in our Vermont XL and find them easier as they can be put into the washing machine if they get dirty - a carpet is too big to do this with!

Vango make carpets as well. We wouldn't be without our carpet. We have never had to wash ours. They are treated and can easily be retreated when needed. Just wipe up spills quickly and keep shoes at the front door and you won't have to worry about putting it in the wash.
It's much easier to have one whole carpet where you don't have to worry about tripping over corners or the edges curling up. Before we got our carpet, we used a huge throw from IKEA. It was great for warmth but will move around a bit, but served it's purpose well.

World of Camping do a Wynnster Carpet 3 x 2 for £32.99. Might be worth taking a look at if you specifically wanted a carpet and not rugs.

I can highly recommend the wynnster carpets.
We have the 3mx3m and its really good. stays put and is really quite thick, but still packs away a treat.
------------- everything will be ok in the end, if its not ok, its not the end. Anon.

We had picnic blankets last year but they were such a pain, moving about and us tripping over the edges, we now have a outwell carpet in our wynnster tent and it has been great, very cosy and doesn't move about and it still packs down to a small size. I told the shop the size we were looking for and they recommended a carpet that would fit.
