We went camping at the weekend in our brand new Vango Orchy 600 and unfortunately we had torrential rain which was blasting down so hard it came through the tent as a fine mist. There were no drips or anything just this mist which made everything damp. Do I have a faulty tent? Should I waterproof it or send it back?! We actually packed up and came home a day early as I didn't want to be drenched in the middle of the night!! I'm a little worried about our next trip in case it happens again. What do you think?

I have an orchy 600 and had the same thing happen to me with the wet mist the first time it rained since then it has been great we even commented this weekend how waterproof the tent was as we had some really torrential showers and not a drop of water came in its as if the material needs to get wet and dry out before it becomes watertight stick with it as we have been really pleased with the tent. Thanks for that Graham. I'll give it a go. At the moment it is spread out in the garage but I plan to pitch it tonight to get it thoroughly dry and then it'll get another test run in August!
