Hi all - still pondering over new tents!!!  I am now looking at this Easycamp tent.  We only generally go for weekends, and I need something that I can set up on my own as hubby tends to join us after work on a saturday evening.

I like the look of the Vango Venture or Tamor but Easycamp Taranto is tunnel and would be easier to set up me thinks!

We are two adults and two kids and a dog, but don't really want anything too big due to me setting up alone - also, we don't spend much time "living" in the tent as usually go to campsites which allow fires and have shelters etc when raining. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as i am now driving myself mad!!!!!

hello, are your kids too young to give you a helping hand ?

I`m sure they could help you with the poles etc . If i had to pitch alone i`d use one of those `pop up` ones , but i don`t think they do family size ones.

I suggest you add your location to your profile and put your height and build on here in your request.

Your location my help others recommend somewhere close to you where you could go a see a errected tent display, Seeing the tents up and being able to walk around them seeing how the pins attach etc is always the best.

And giving your height and build should mean that one or more will say hey I am that tall and I put my tent up on my own etc.

Example being I am Male six foot two tall chubby oik and I have Put my EasyCamp Parma 600 up on my own twice, although the instructions recommend two people and to be honest two people is best for this tent in my limited opinion.
