We had a Outwell Hartford Family Dome XL and were fairly pleased with that (we have given it to our friends and they love it). We currently have a Gelert Satellite 6, which is ok but not really suitable for us and prefer the quality of the Outwell.

Roll on the Weekends!

We decided on a Hartford L (6 berth but comfortable 4 in the 2008 model).

We went and looked and took advise from here. 

I work p/t in Halfords and we have some Gelerts so I compered them when looking.  The Outwell seemed much better quality especially if you are going to be camping year on year.

Is there a tent display near you so you can have a proper look and get the feel of the tents?

The Gelert Zenith is an awesome tent, we saw the Zenith 6 up and it impressed us. It has the large living area that is open all the way to the front door, which makes it bigger than some which have the entrance as a porch.

The sky lights, window mesh with frosted curtains and fly mesh on external doors made us really consider that Gelert have improved their quality.
