Hi Everyone

I'm looking to invest in my first family tent and would like to go somewhere to see them up. Thing of getting a Gelert or Outwell but open to suggestions. Anyone know of anywhere in the Beds/Bucks/Herts area?

We've got a small Milletts in Luton but they don't have any tents up

There is also the complete Outdoors in Bourne End!! They have a website too so you could check prices etc. and also ring them to see what tents they have up as not a huge space!

just seen an ad for Cross Camping at Phillmore Garden Centre, Melbourn, Royston in Herts. It says they have one of the uks biggest outdoor tent displays!!

Cross Camping in Melbourn, nr Royston (based at the smaller garden centre) is a great store, it has a huge display and offers excellent knowledgable service.  They have a website too.

A little bit further out, but still well worth considering is Yeomans Outdoors, Northampton. Its just off of the A45 and has loads of tents on display. See their web site http://www.yeomansoutdoors.co.uk/main.asp?sitepages=northampton_store

Ah P J Camping, remember buying my first tent there! You can get some very good deals there and few other camping shops with that amount of tents built up to look at, thats presuming they still use the outside space at the back!

Hi Mrs Jubbly (clare)

Thanks for the vote, im away this weekend myself at the St Neots site. A bit damp outside but warm and snug with my heater etc. I managed to get a pitch right on the river, I just hope the site stays above water as its prone to flooding.

Anyway back at work today (sat) then back to the site afterwork to meet the kids and a few friends.
