Hi Rose
Ive got an Outwell Oregon 5 and think its great although i havent had anything else. Its easy ish to put up and after a few attempts it does get easier ( try to put it up in your garden or somewere first to get the hang of it!).
We only have two adults in our party but two biggish dogs. The left bedroom compartment is big enough for airbed and about a foot space around the edges and two foot at the bottom of your bed. When away without the dogs we leave the bed in that one and use the other for our bags etc but if you needed to use the other room as a bedroom you easily could you would just have your bags around your beds!
The living area is good enough for our party even with the dogs and in the rain. Yes we would love a bigger tent for loads of room but the thought of trying to put it up puts me off! This is just right for us and with a couple of cheap windbreaks its great, you can even carpet for it if you wanted!
Only problems we have seen with the oregon (i say problems but im just nitpicking!) is the slant of the door. When its closed and your inside to open it you have to almost get on the floor. Also the inside does tend to get condensation in it but we have camped in all weathers now, really hot and sunny and terrential rain and i havent had any problems with it dropping on us just a bit damp when you run your hand along it.
Quite lengthy i know but i lurve talking about my tent and camping in general. Ask away if you need any further help! Happy camping
