Hi Jabber

Welcome to the most addictive forum in the world.

If I were in your shoes I would look for a 6 berth tent.  This would be the smallest size I would consider as most manufacturers base the berth size on a camping mat and not a blow up mattress.

Having said that, your budget is going to limit your options.  If you could possibly increase this to £125 amazon have a Gelert Horizon 6 in blue with free delivery. For some reason the green is double the price. There would be enough room inside for you all if the weather was bad.

Good Luck with your search and happy camping.

What about one of these not a bad looking tent for under £100 and a good make and reasonably easy to put up.

Hi Jabber

The Appalachian is seems ok although as its footprint is large so you may be limited as to where you camp. Both the Gelert Horizon and the Lichfield Commanche are a tunnel design and thus are easier to erect and and find pitches for.

The Gelert also is much more waterproof but the Appalachian should be just about ok. The link for the Gelert Alaska 8 seems a good buy as it would give you a very generous living space.

Jo
