Anyone any experience with the Outwell Nevada XL?  Been lookin at it for a while and then saw an offer with a free carpet for £214.95 so am now quite tempted.

Anyone?

We bought this tent about a month ago from Winfields at £299 (I think) with free carpet and though we've only managed to use it twice we absolutley love it. It's easy to erect, takes the two of us less than 30 minutes, and is really spacious inside. We also love the fact that if the weathers not great or its a bit chilly outside you can zip yourself in yet not feel hemmed in as its got really big windows inside.

We bought it after reading beefymums review on how it had with stood the bank holiday gales!

Hope this helps

That's a great price, it was £229 in winfields. I can't fault this tent at all.

Okay - it sounds like it's worth going for then.  Do you know if the smaller bedroom can be removed for extra living space?

Hi Pete

You can take out the 4 bedroom pod at the end where the door is and that gives you loads of space though must admit the living space is quite big anyway we prefer to leave all the pods in and use one area for storage.

Thats a great price and even better getting the free carpet. We got an Outwell Sunvalley 6 from Yeomans last September and got a free carpet and footprint groundsheet.Don't hesitate as they will be snapped up fast.It usually means when they offer these kind of discounts/incentives that the tent is either going to be discontinued/or revamped.Don't let that put you off,its a great tent.

Hi,

Thats a very good price!!! I paid £229 with a free carpet from Winfields. I am very pleased with the tent, and it is very easy to put up. So much so, that I am hapy to go away with my 11 yr old daughter, knowing that she will be able to help me put the tent up.

You can remove either of the 2 bedrooms, but we leave them in. One of the bedrooms sleeps 4, and the other can be divided into a 2+2.

We have just bought the canopy too.

The carpet is good quality too. I was a bit sceptical, but it really does make the tent feel warmer, especially on your toes!

Hope this helps

Rich

We got ours from Winfields last week. Did a trial pitch in the garden at the weekend and really pleased with it so far, and off to Cornwall on Monday. Certainly had very good reviews which helped us make our decision, and the Yeomans price you've found is excellent. We got our side extension from them (£65) delivered free to our local branch.
