Funnily enough we've been looking at this tent today, and was really impressed with it. Have enjoyed looking at your photos, and am determined to buy one for next year now!!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
We're looking for a larger family tent at the moment for our first trip to France en famille next year. We've kind of narrowed it down to the Outwell Vermont/Vango Amazon style tent and we like the lay out and also the acres of space they seem to provide.
Could anyone who has experience of the Vermont L and XL and the Amazon 800 confirm whether you can fit a double air matress in the smaller bedroom pods?
I know that this is a bit late but yes you can fit a double air mattress in 2 of the bedrooms. One is only a single bedroom so only room for a single there really.

Hi Lisa
What advice can you give on erecting it. I brought one a couple of months ago, have only had chance to put it up once so far as we don't have alot of room. I watched the wideo on outwell and tried to do it like that but found it quite heavy to lift with all the roof poles in.
Going away on friday so any advice would be brill. Let me know how you got on with the carpet as I am thinking of investing in one for next year, also considered the side extension but that will have to wait till after xmas and do a bit of sneaky camping purchase while the hubby away. (What he doesn't know won't hurt him!!)
We went onto the Youtube video posted by Yeomans for pitching (Google search engine - Pitching Outwell Vermont XL). It is really quite easy and we had ours up in less than 30 mins. The only thing is they dont show you the easy way to get it down.
