Hi, we have a Monty 12 but as you can imagine it is a major ball ache to take away for the weekend.  We have been having a bit of a look around for a tent just for weekends for two adults and 2 kids age 5 and 3.  We would like one around the size of a Coleman trailblazer5 or Gelert cadiz 7 and in an ideal world have a sig.  Does anyone have any recommendations???  The tents I have mentioned we liked but haven't REALLY grabbed us if you know what I mean.  We are not just fair weather campers so ideally would have a decent HH rating.  Do I sound really picky??? Lol.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

im also watching this thread,we have a norfolk lake and are looking for a weekend tent. ive just been looking at the wynnster phoenix 4 and the aztec galeria 4.

any opinions on these ?

There's the Outwell Colorado 5 on sale at Yeomans for an excellent £138,not SIG but a very good tent.
What about the Outwell Minnesota with SIG

Don't want to spend too much really. £150 pron high as want to go but the better bargain the better lol.  Quite taken with the vango orchy 600. Looks pretty good but all suggestions welcome!!

I also have a Monty 12 but have just purchased an Outwell Colorado 5 for shorter trips.

Look again at this,

Ok it doesnt have a sig but with an extention and our existing side canopy, I think its gonna be a great combo.

Anyone got any veiws?

Yes that Colorado 5 for £138 would be my choice; the front end that can be moved inwards to create a porch looks very useful for hot weather while the enormous windows would be great for rainy days.
