We're going for an outwell tent. We've had 2 other outwell tents in the past, and they've been fantastic, no problems. We then decided this year to go for a vango diablo 600xp tent. In the space of 3 weeks, we've had 2 of these tents, and they've both had to go back. They've had various faults, but the main ones being, that 1 bedroom leaked quite bad and the seams on the inner tent started to come away! I must admit, it didn't spoil our holiday, but it's put me off buying another vango tent! We ended up getting our money back on the tent, but unfortunately, we also bought the tent carpet and the matching windbreak, but as we had already used these, and there's nothing wrong with them, i couldn't get my money back!
I don't want to sway you into which tent your going to choose, but i would look around and consider your options. This time, we are looking for a tent that you can put the outer up first, then either zip in a ground sheet, or have it already sown in. I'd also look into how water proof the outer material is too. We also found that with the vango, the material, although light in weight, was also very light inside, which posed us a problem or two early in the morning when the sunrose, as the children thought it was time for getting up!
Hope this has helped you a little!
Let me know how you get on
