Hi all think this is my first post so hopefully being a newbie you'll be all clammering to help me lol!

I'm looking to get a new tent at the moment I have a Vango colarado 600dlx and have been looking for something a bit smaller for weekends away. I'm quite taken with the royal seattle 4 though not seen it "in the flesh". Has anyone got one of these or seen one and can tell me if it's worth getting for a second tent. It'll get used in all seasons in wales and the lakes so need something that will hold up. Thanks for any help that you may be able to give

Hi,

My friends went for this tent, we all went to France last week!

It has a good size living area, they had a decent size table and 2 chairs and still space left, and there are two rooms, but each would fit a double airbed in. (there was only 2 of them)

One problem, they are writing to Royal about, we did have a HUGE storm and the vent (which had a cover) at the back got blown about a bit and it let the rain in, it seaped into the inner tent and left a puddle. If the vent was half the size it would have been prevented, we blocked it off with some plastic and duct tape and it was fine after that - and before proir to the storm!!

It stood upto the storm though!! the wind was whirling and the rain was hammering!!

Worst one I've been in!

Thanks for the info but after much twoing and throwing I went for the Gelert ottawa 4 fingers crossed it will be ok
