Just bought the Minny extension and hope to try it out next weekend. Does anyone think that a groundsheet of some sort for this would be a good idea or is that just adding more unnecessary kit?

That's what I hoped but just needed reassurance.

We used a goundsheet in our Mini extension along with the door mat

did help to keep some of muck out of the tent. Saying that the weather was

not too bad 2nd week of July in Brean

 I carry an ordinary ground sheet for wet weather and a 12 x 8 ground sheet and some extra clips to cover the end in gails.

Anyone got a minnesota 4 extension or awning they want to sell??  Looking for one for my Montana 4 tent?
