Hi,

Just had mine up in the garden for the 1st time. needs to be weathered as it leaks around windows 1st time it gets wet. Last night rained heavy again and it was dry inside.

Lots of people chat on here about the leaks. But the 1st good soaking done the trick. (will tell next week!)

I packed it up today by un zipping ground sheet. Its so quick to take out.Its also much quicker to take down than put up. You do need 2 people to put up.

Very pleased with the tent, cant wait to go camping for the week on sunday. Hope the weather is ok for next week.

You got a very good price.

I did well also paid just over £700 for side extension, footprint, carpet and windbreak.

Yes.  We had a vermont and it was a nightmare to lift.  Couldn't believe how easy the Norfolk lake is to lift in comparision.  The poly cottons are lovely.  If you follow the above instructions it should go up like a dream.  When lifting the first(back) pole just keep nudging it upwards bit at a time til you get it vertical.  After this one the rest are easy.

we pitch ours with the zig on. it is heavy, but can be lifted by one strong person. we have it all in one bag, apart from the poles, but have been advised to separate the zig for Winter storage. It is so much easier to pitch with the zig already on!!

Re opening the zips when pitching, i can see how the air would help, we kept them closed so that we didn't end up with the tent on the "wonk" after pegging. The front door seemed tight if we didn't keep it zipped at this stage. maybe we are doing something wrong!!!
