Hi there! Have a look at my review of the Guadeloupe which has just gone online! As you will gather from that I am a big fan of the Cabanon pyramids! If you have any specific questions I will do my best to answer them!
I liked the Guadaloupe but sold mine on as I found that it not having an area to cook in was a problem for us. I also disliked the sewn in groundsheet but I'm not a fan of SIG's generally.
The Guadaloupe is a fantastic tent, it's easy to pitch, it's stable in high winds, it was beautifully watertight and had a lovely "feel" to it.
However, we prefer traditional frame tents for the square walls, the kitchen area and the lack of SIG. One advantage of the G over a frame is that the lack of a proper bedroom inner meant that OH being tall was less of a problem as he could just stick his feet out of the curtain!
I think the Noumea has a loose groundsheet rather than a SIG? Merry should be along at some point and she's got a Noumea in her collection of canvas tents so should be able to help with it.

Cheek! I'll have you know I'm down to a barebones three canvas tents. And a canvas kitchen tent. Ahem.
Anyway, the Noumea is a mini-me of the Guadeloupe, so it does have a sewn in groundsheet. Everything Len and Piglet have said about the G applies to the Noumea, except its lower and smaller. Its great for one person but might be a bit too snug for two people who want to do anything much more than sleep in it.
The Pyramide 6, which is bigger again than the Guadeloupe, does not have a SIG, so has a standard clip in bedroom inner. Hope that helps, but do ask if you have any more questions! MT

Ah well, we're even then! Len beats both of us anyway as he spent wayyyyy more on his beautiful shiny Dutchy tent so I don't feel too bad about my collection!
