Hi

Can anyone help us?

In the process of buying the Aspen 700dlx 2007 model -- we really want a tent where there is a seperate porch area for kitchen use/wet clothing etc and need to know quite quickly whether or not this model will provide this.

ie: is the porch big enough and is it possible to enclose the porch on the inside making it 'seperate from the inner living area?

Hope the above makes sense!! -- having trouble actually getting this information due to being a 2007 model.

Thanks a million.

We bought a vango tamour 500 this year. When we bought it from the shop we asked if you could fit the Vango large sun canopy on to it to which the shop replied that you couldn't. We rang vango customer service and they told us that you could, they said that the large sun canopy fits on any vango tent that has a porch.

We bought the sun canopy and it filts a treat and really extends the tent and we have the kitchen with stoves and the chairs in there.

I would ring vango themselves to ask.

Hope thios helps

hi, we`ve got the aspen 700dlx and yes the porch is plenty big enough to cook in plus keep all your wet gear in. this is exactly what we use ours for, plus at night time all the kids toys, bikes etc go out there. yes you can also close off the porch area from the living area to keep this area clean, warm and clutter free. have a look at the reviews on this tent here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/preview.asp?id=7 where my self plus others have added more in depth info on this tent

rich.

Hello,

We've also got the 700DLX and can confirm everything that rich says above. We use our porch for exactly the same thing - cooking, eating in (it easily fits a table & chairs) and keeping wet gear in if necessary.
