Looking to get a new one of these as cheaply as possible (obviously), any suggestions of where to look?

Thank you in advance.

£49 here

£48.95 here

Or for similar money you could get a Gelert Stratus 3 - same sort of tent but much more room - here - more like the Beta 350.

Thank you.

As I'm in no hurry, this is for next year, is it reasonable to assume that they will become cheaper in "end of season sales" or is a £65 RRP tent only likely to be reduced to just under the £50 mark?

Caz, can't go for anything bigger as it's intended for someone who is quite possibly going to have to use public transport, therefore will need to carry it, at times and having picked up a packed tent a limit of 5kg was decided on. Would have gone for the Beta 350 otherwise.

Debz, you will find as regards to discounts, generally the lower the RRP,the lower the discount,so £50 for a RRP of £65 is about 23% off which is pretty good.

Coleman Coastline could be another to consider.

280

Weight 4.5 Kgs, but prices seem to be similar.

Sue, I see what you're saying about less of a discount in actual ammount ( obviously a tent in the hundreds of pounds will have a lot more off) but the percentage discount, whilst being reasonable, isn't as much as things often are when they're about to be last years model. This may not of course be the way with tents but I'd have thought that if this years stuff isn't sold soon it'll be harder to shift once the NEW tents are out and they become what people want. Maybe I'll give it a bit longer and see if prices fall a bit further.

Caz, it's strange you should highlight that one. We saw the 3 person version of both the Beta and the Coastline erected on Monday and the future owner of the tent didn't like the Coastlne at all, can't explain why just didn't. Shame really as we'd have more options. Thanks anyway.
