Hi Guys,

Been a while since Ive been on.

Ive just bought a daft little 2 man tent for me and the young un to go on the odd jaunt away. Amazingly its a Halfords jobbie (before you all groan, read on). Ive read some bad reviews about the camping packs so decided to go for the 'Sukai Urban Escape' mainly as I had some gear left over from the last disasterous camping experiment. Anyway, bought it for £60 cos this time I was intent on not wasting shedloads of cash for 2 weekends a year and a dozen fights with the wife.

I have got to say, after 2 nights of howling wind and absolute lashing down rain not one drop of water got through. Tent was still perfectly pitched when I took it down and only took me and my 10 year old 40 minutes to get fully setup. We rang the missus after the first night, she was so impressed she joined us as this tent can fit 3 in the sleeping area without a squeeze.

Looks like we're going again next weekend and I'm well chuffed we can finally get out and about on a weekend again.

So if you want a well thought out tent which is modern looking, waterproof and solid get down to halfords with your giro and invest in one of these beauties.

The one badpoint is not much headroom but for £60 i'll live with it :-)

Have fun.

Mark
