After having just spent a very wet week in Torquay in a Pro-Action 6 man tent and gazebo - which blew away in the awful storm we had I have every admiration for the tent it stood up to the elements really well - considering it was in the sale and only cost £35. On coming home I decided to purchase a bigger frame tent - out of the paper I have to admit but on putting the tent up all poles etc are there and it looks fab! only problem is that the 'living area' curtains aren't there. As the living area has four rather large curtains I would like to replace them. After a rather exhausting search on the web for the original manufacturer I find that they only do trailer tents now! unless anyone can point me in the right direction.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can get replacement curtains or any ideas how new curtains could be fixed to the existing fixings (they look like freezer bag zippers but bigger). Any clues?? Would love to complete the tent in the original colours but understand that this may not be possible.

Hi

Sounds like you are very happy with your new tent, however can you not just make new curtains from flat pieces of fabric and velcro them on?

The zipper part of the curtain should be suitable for a sticky backed velcro and you could sew the other part onto the curtain.

Just a suggestion. I've had frame tents and I know the type of fitting you need, I imagine it would be quite tricky to get this to create some new ones.

Emma

Thanks mumshadenough.

I had thought about making some new curtains and velcro was going to be the fixing of choice. Nice to hear that someone knows what I am on about though.

Again many thanks.
