Hi Kelb.
Tents that have been on display outside over the summer period, have already have had a life times dose of Ultra Violet (UV). Nylon and polyester tents normally only last about 6 to 8 years due to UV. Even the best cotton tents have probably had their life span reduced by half.
So if you decide to buy a display model you must take this into consideration. the decision is yours.
Regards
Rex.

I would not be buying a 'display' I just want to go to the place that has got the most tents up so I can have a look inside them, I want 1 that I can walk in.
We've not long came back from Shamba holidays near Ringwood off the A31. There is a large tent display near there. It had loads of tents and some folding caravans. Even though we have a caravan i still spent a long time looking round all the tents.
Don't know what road you will take but if you are out and about you might want to consider going to that one.
Towsure only really has about 4 or 5 tents on display i found them quite disapointing on that front, a good shop otherwise tho. U could try the camping shop next to Haskins in West End/Mansbridge, they have quite a few out on show.
he he! at bentley1, that is a massive tent just for me and my son!
Agree with you andywhu after being to Towsure was disappointed in the amount of tents on display. I am hopeless at getting anywhere without sat nav so might have to go out again one weekend, you will have to give me the address!
Oh and I couldn't leave without buying anything tho could I ha ha! I bought a folding loo type thingy!
We decided we liked the Evolution 600 they had on display but would like to see the 400 as thought the 600 might be a big just for the 2 of us.
We've been on a similar hunt in the same area over the last week or so.
The one off the A31 near Ringwood is Campers & Leisure (www.campersandleisure.co.uk). The display was quite good just before the 18th August when we called by there for some other items. Now we're actually on a hunt for a tent, they've taken down most of the display!
They no longer sell Khyam (unofficial info from the tent salesman there, as they are still listed as Khyam stockists according to Khyam!), but have a few big Outwell's up, and are pushing Aztecs and Royals. They do have the Evolution 600DL, 600 and 300 all up (inside the back marquee) next to each other.
If there's something particular you're looking for, I'd suggest calling beforehand as it isn't that big a place.

We have fallen in love with the evo 600, I was thinking it would be to big for us, but my son is insisting he has a bedroom on his own now (10 and getting to old to be sharing with mum!)
I would have prefered the 400 just to keep spending low!
I will have to see if I can get out to the place on the A31 for a look, wont be buying just yet, have to save a couple of months first, but want it now really, but realisticly it will be just before our trip in october!
