I was interested in a tent from Wild Day Camping via ebay. They have various auctions of the same tent and whilst looking at them all (seeing if I could get a choice of colour) I noticed that although most were the 2008 model there was at least one 2007 model, all at the SAME "buy it now price". I thought this a bit off, charging the same price for an older model not the selling an older model, so gave them a ring to see if they'd do a deal on the 2007 one (it's for giving camping a try out so going for as cheap as possible). NO DEAL. I have to say I'm surprised but then hey ho.

Just thought I'd make this point so that anyone buying from them makes sure they're not getting an older tent than they expect.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

Just shows it pays to read the auction description, really. And tbh there's some models of tent where I'd pay more for the older version than the "new improved" one, the Vango Vista 800 2005 version and the flat backed Vango Colorado 800 (also 2005??)  being two examples that spring to mind.
