Hi

I am thinking about buying A Vango Diablo tent but having trouble making up my mind which size to go for, the 600 or 900. There will be 4 people using it mostly, but could be 6 sometimes, I have been advised to go as for as big a berth as I can? Any help would be much appreciated. (It would be 2 adults and 4 children by the way!)

Also can you leave a bedroom pod out if you want to?

We have the 900XP and no, you can't leave a bedroom pod out. There are only four of us, but we use the extra bedroom for storage, which keeps the main part of the tent free(ish) of clutter. The only downside of the 900 is that it is pretty big, and some sites won't accept it. Most do though, so don't let that put you off - brilliant tent!

we have the 600, perfect for upto 6 people.
the 900, as said, will sometimes be refused on sites, fortunately the 600 hasnt....yet.

not been refused yet at any campsite with our 900xp, only 6 of us use ours and its great. lodsa space.

Hi folks!

Well I took the plunge and i have bought the 900XP, got it for £225 new so seems like a bargain, hope I can manage to put it up ok (Im only 5ft!!)

There are loads of tips to putting up the 900 - the best is to get the main poles in (3 main ones) and then get inside and lift before trying to secure the poles. Any questions - just ask. We have put ours up loads of times.
