Probably a stupid question but have an Vango Orchy 500 which has got 2 split poles (one from wind when pitched... one from trying to pitch in the wind!! )..need an 11mm diameter but local shop is having trouble getting some Vango Powerflex ones, I have only found single sections and would like a few 'spares' to take with us in October...the question is can I replace sections with a different make pole section ( such as Outwell) or even better if I replaced sections with steel wrapped pole from another company would this make them stronger in the wind ?
