hi all hope your all well.

Came back from north wales on sunday and when we packed our tent up it was a little on the damp side. I intend to put the tent up in garden to give it chance to dry out but how long is it safe to leave until i put it up as i dont want it to get damaged

Advice please

ASAP - Tents start to get mildewy after a while if left damp, I would say within a couple of days before it starts to get stale. I also found with my previous tent, that if the tent got damp and was not dried out, The waterproofing was not nearly as adequate then next time around.

Don't keep it packed in the bag, just fold it loosly and leave it in the bath until you can dry it out.

We hang ours up in the spare room draped over the bunk beds if it needs drying out, and I know some others hang them over the stairs, if that's any help.

Mine's still draped across the settee from a few weeks ago

- must put it away.

Not wanting to accept the season is over!! putting it away just brings home thats it good few months away before you can escape again lol
