Hi Guys, Pleased to have found this site, hope I won't make any silly posts or requests for help that will seem easy-peasy to all you more experienced tenters. So, here we go... Have been tenting for about 18 months, mainly for financial reasons and started off with a Ridgeline 4, as there is just myself and wife. However, this tent is a little restricted size wise mainly in the height area, so have just purchased a Rage Alta 6DX privately on E-bay. Seems a good size and more importantly a good height. Regretably no instructions were included for putting the thing up. Have contacted Rage via their website but no response forthcoming, not even a "Thank you for your query, we willl get back to you shortly" So my query, at long last, is, can anyone let me have a copy of the instructions for this tent, either by e-mail attachment or post? There may be other owners who can help and may be along later. This make get slightly mixed reviews on here.

If no one else can help with specific instructions, some of us seasoned, elderly tent addicts can make educated guessed based on the pic in my link....but I can't do this right now for you as I am still at work (boo!)

Thanks for the buzz back. It's basically a nylon nissen hut, sorry your link to e-bay didn't show a pic, with 4 f.g poles and two inner tent sleeping compartments. I thnk it will be pretty easy to put up but wanted to check.

You sound like you know how to figure it out. My hunch is that this make will not have a fully sewn in groundsheet, so it will be flysheet first (as the pole sleeves are visible on the outside of the fly in the Ebay pic), then bedroom pods and living area groundsheet.

Hope you get the weather for a trial run.

Its looks very similar to my Vario 6 tunnel tent which I bought (off eBay) with no instructions and had to guess when putting it up. It would be worth getting a footprint sheet to protect the bedroom and living areas.

There may be two poles that go inside, down the sides of the tunnel to provide some extra stiffness.

Should be pretty easy to up, if I can figure it out, anyone can!

Yes Foggers that is the beast, Unfortunately it doesn't have a built in groundsheet, only in the sleeping pods. We have a large sheet from our previous tent which should fit under the pods and pin down sheet provided. I think it's going to be very much get it out and have a go. So as the garden is full of pond and rabbit run it will have to be the local "amenity" space!

Steve there are just 4 poles that go up and over so hope it will be pretty rigid without any further support.
