just wondered if any evo 600 owners have any views on this please

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5232-2978-1/1?AID=9479574&PID=1428744&mpre=http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5232-2978-1/1?AID=9479574&PID=1428744&mpre=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D130259484936

Now its advertised as a used bargain so I contacted to ask what exactly the 'used' is.

This is the response

Hi Kelly
This has come directly from Sunncamp, it was either a photo sample or trade show demo, we have checked it over and found no faults.
The postage for the kitchen would be an additional £1.00
Hope this helps

Now my son and I have fallen in love with these tents, and really would prefer the one with the 2 bedroom compartments.

I dont know whether to go for the 2nd hand 'used bargain' or opt for the cheaper brand new version smaller berth.

I cant decide what to do and would really like a new tent for our weekend camping at the beginning of the half term.

thanks for views and advice

Kels

Me again.......Just checked the tent reviews on this site.....all good.

We have a six berth vango.....so long as you don`t want to squeeze 6 in a 6-berth you`ll be good

We have an Orchy 600 for me my hubby and two under 9`s, and is okay now, but we will reach a point when we need to upsize ( hopefully to a bell tent)

I like having a smaller tent, it means that thre are no pitch size issues and its easy to pitch, and we don`t need a trailer ( we did have a roof box this summer for our weeks holiday, but we had wetsuits and stuff) I love the accesories and the glamping idea....but its all about back to basics for us.

As you`ve had no other feedback, I still say buy it and enjoy

Found it from your other post.

Can't see anything that would not make me go for it if it is the tent I wanted. It's a  company and they have a good returns policy. Give them a ring and ask all about it again just to make sure you are happy.

The only negative with this style of tent is the loss of space at the sides/ends.

I had a similar version (the one you mention has a better door position) and sold it after only using it for two nights, due to the un useable space. If you have tables chairs etc. they end up in the middle all the time. This may not be a problem to you though, as it's just for two. Good luck either way.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
