We're thinking of getting one of these in the sale. It looks lovely but I was wondering how people got on with this tent and whether you would recommend it. Does it cope with rain? Wind? Also does the outer go up first?

It is a single skin tent so goes up in one.  The porch and canopy are really useful.  Were lucky enough to not get wind or rain so can't help you there but it is a lovely tent. Hope that helps.

Have just purchased a wynnster carina 8 and some reviews indicate that the instructions are a little confusing. Has anyone any advice re erecting this tent before we try it out in the garden for practice? Thanks in advance.

Put the steel poles and roof poles in first.  When you have these in place, I seem to remember pegging it at the back and lifting the frame into place.  You will need two people as it is fairly weighty.  Do the bedroom pods last (so you are effectively treating it as two tents).  Hope that helps.
