Hello - first post and getting back into life under canvas after about 30 years. I've just bought the above off e-bay and pitched it for the first time today - looks a great, spacious tent. - in the living area groundsheet, there are two six inch diameter holes, with a fabric "sock" and a draw string, in the middle where the bedroom inners meet. They're obviously part of the design - At first I thought they were to do with power cable but there's a separate zip in the outside for that.

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the forum.  First post.

I suspect that the holes are to enable you to peg down the inner tents.  Peg them doen to the ground and pull the drawstring tight to keep things water, draught and bug-free.
