I am thinking of putting our Sunncamp 3006 APS plus on ebay but not sure what to put as a starting price. There aren't any advertised on there to compare with. I bought it 2nd hand last year but it is far too big and we have changed our car so it won't fit in there!
Does anyone have a suggestion for a starting price please?
Good condition, 3 seperate bedrooms plus the big living room.

Sadly these tents don't sell well on ebay, which is a terrible shame as the APS range are great tents. We've got the little 4 berth 2302 & it's stood up to gale force winds with no problems at all. I've always felt perfectly secure in ours with it's strong metal poles, and it doesn't 'flap' so much as most polyester tents either as the grade of polyester is thicker, better quality.

I don't think many of these tents were sold in the first place, so ebayers don't know much about them, and consequently are reluctant to bid. Are you sure you want to sell such a good sturdy tent?

Hi Jean

Yep, it is def going.

When we bought it we didn't have a clue how big it was.
I won it on ebay and nearly died when I went to collect it, couldn't believe how big and heavy it was.

We put it up in the back garden(above pic)and we had to put the guy ropes through the windows and into flower pots at the back of the garden as the tent was so big!

You can park a car in the middle bit as it is so big!

We have also changed our car since we bought it and our new car doesn't have a rear split folding seat(Clio), so it would be too big for our boot along with everything else we would need to take AND it weighs about 34kgs!

Plus it is in the way as we have been keeping it in the spare bedroom as I didn't want it to get damp and it's too big to go in the loft.

If it really has to go due to space, then put a low starting bid on it, or at least something you would accept just to get shot of it and going on the assumption that only one person bids.

Or put an ad in your local shops?  Or local paper?
