Hi

Have Vango discontinued the killington? There seem to be some very cheap deals around and it is now longer listed on their website.

I know the first lot were all recalled.

Does anyone know of any problems with the 2008 models?

I'm pretty sure that these questions have been asked recently on another thread. Apparently the problems with the 2007 model were not repeated in the 2008 model.

no me either and I am SURE it was there no so long ago. It was in the premium tent section. The diablo is showing new colours too. They must have stopped doing them. Wonder why???

Dunno but I just bought one!!!!

We bought one when they first came out. It was sent back under the recall so we bought a Diablo. But the spec on the Killington is so good just could not say no.

Now I'm worried there is a problem with them and that's why they stopped. Our local dealer said something about Vango wouldn't guarantee being able to replace the poles if one snapped?

i found the answer to this, there were no problems with the 2008 models, but because of the recall the Name vango killington never sold very well as people were too woriied about it from previous year. Was a great tent design which outwell copied on the hartford range.

the problem appears to be with the 2007 model only I have the 2008 model and took it out in some pretty horrendous weather and all was ok
