Oo-er, about to go against the flow here, because I can't think of anything worse that having a top speed of 60mph and not being to park anywhere except motorway service stations.
I'm with Clarkson here - no, 60mph isn't relaxing and it doesn't get you there quicker! Plus, with a typically under-reading speedo (up to 10% below actual speed), most are doing around a true 55mph.
Before we got a real bargain on our Vermy last year I was about to go for an Outwell Nevada L. It's a bit narrower than a Monty but a bit longer, and since you won't need the third bedroom it'll have plenty of room. being a rectangle you'll have no trouble with pitch charges.
It packs into one bag much smaller than the Monty bag, and weighs 22Kg against the Monty 40Kg. It has very good reviews - probably needs the porch pole shortening by an inch to ease stress on flysheet, but so do most Montys.
