we own a Gelert Zenith 6 in blue and it is the spitting image of this tent that i have seen on Go outdoors web site but its by Hi Gear..... do Hi Gear own Gelert or other way around? because this is an outright copy of out tent inside and out!!!

Several companies buy tents and other equipment from manufacturers such as Gelert and have them badged with their own name.  They are quite often the previous year's models.

Hi

Hi gear was a brand owned by a company called Steiners who supplied retailers with a number of products under a number of brands.

The steiners company closed down (bust possible) and Gelert bought all the stock and brand names etc.

Gelert supply Go Outdoors and Go Outdoors have a range of product under the revived Hi gear brand.

I hope this clears things up.

My Gelert Horizon is exactly the same as Hi-Gear's Zenobia barr the logo, as far as I am concerned they are Gelert tents.

They are also the tent of choice in Asda. Its just rebranded Gelert stock.
